Test Benches Lead Engineer
- Establishing the requirements for the mechanical and operative design of the test bench.
- Develop the preliminary documentation of the design of the test bench, with documents such as performance analysis, preliminary mechanical dimensioning and project timeline.
- Development of P&ID, including valves, instrumentation, specifications of tanks, pressurization system and control loops. Software used: Autocad Plant3D
- Performance analysis of all the different systems and subsystems of the test bench in order to ensure the compliance with all the established requirements by the test benches team and the client team (propulsion, structures, feed...). Software used: EcosimPro, DWSim
- Development of base design documentation, such as Pipe Material Specification, Analysis Procedure Specification and Manufacturing and Inspection Specification.
- 3D design of all the different systems and subsystems, including pipelines (cryogenic, fuel, nitrogen...), high pressure systems (Helium, high pressure nitrogen, oxygen, methane...), structures and tanks. Softwares used: Siemens NX, Autocad Plant3D
- Technical Specification for all the different components, depending if they are commercial or manufactured, such as valves, actuators, pressure relief systems or tanks.
- Follow-up of manufacturing of all the different subsystems, creating specific documentation such as Non Destructive Inspection Document, Welding Maps...
- Support in the integration phase of the test bench, in form of integration instructions, additional drawings or in-field support.
Launch complex mechanical engineer
- 3D design based on performance analysis, territorial regulation and launch complex requirements either external or internal.
- Development of P&ID, including valves, instrumentation, pressurization system and control loops. Software used: SEE Electrical
- 3D design of auxiliary machinery such as high pressure compressor systems, high pressure composite reservoirs and electrical containers.
- Follow-up of manufacturing of all the different subsystems, creating specific documentation such as Non Destructive Inspection Document, Welding Maps...
- Support in the integration phase of the launch complex, in form of integration instructions, additional drawings or in-field support.
- Support to the launch operations.
Launch ramp mechanical engineer
- 3D design of all the low, medium and high pressure gas lines, cryogenic pipes and fuel lines.
- Support in the design and manufacturing of the hold-down system.
- Support in the design and manufacturing of the strongback erection system.
- 3D design of the umbilicals release system.
