  • I used python to build automation on my AWS platform.
  • I was part of a project where-in we used AWS native tools to create a CI/CD pipeline using tools like Code commit, Code Build, Code deploy, Code Artifact, Code Pipeline, SNS, ChatBot, PMD, EC2 and a host of others to build and test a Java project with Apache Maven and i took care of the infrastructural configuration.
  • Build a backup strategy leveraging automation to take snapshots of my EC2 instances on a daily.
  • Aside automation playing a huge role in cost reduction, I helped also using tools like Trust advisor, AWS compute optimizer, and Instance scheduler to stop resources which are not in use.
  • Aside using Linux system for system updates and patching, I used it to configure individual software packages to uphold security in my system.

  • I was part of a DevsecOps CI/CD Pipeline automation project where-in we build a NoteJS Project with npm. This project was successfully build and deployed with security testing being done in all the stages using tools like OWASP dependency check(SCA), Sonarqube(SAST), Trivy(SAST), and ZAP(DAST). We used tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, K8s/EKS to name a few.
  • Security was given most priority as it needed to meetup with prescribed regulatory standards.
  • I was tasked to incorporate observability into our project so i had to bring in tools like Prometheus and Grafana for Monitoring, EFK(ElasticSearch Fluentd Kibana) for Logging to give us a single pane view of all logs by our users for action.
  • Also, aside using automation and aws best practices to uphold security, i have also used tools like IAM, Gaurd duty, Amazon Macie, System Manager and a host of others to keep my environment secured.
  • I also used IAM to control authentication and authorization in our platform by creating EC2 users, attaching SSO and MFA on them and also using IAM policies to authorize them upholding the least privilege rule.
