PhD in Sociology and Anthropology, my main lines of research are feminist and gender studies as well as the field of analysis and study of cities and spatial conflicts. In recent years I have been intensively engaged in the field of social research in a comparative framework, which has allowed me to delve into the social reality of European and Latin American cities, developing various research and development programs. In addition, this work has allowed me to test different research techniques by combining the analysis of databases with the development of applied research fields. Throughout my career the fundamental element is the study of gender dynamics and the role of feminist movements.
In parallel to my professional work, I have been involved in feminist social activism for more than two decades in different platforms, such as the state feminist assembly and the feminist assembly of Madrid. I also publish on gender conflicts and feminist movements in various newspapers and media in my country.
