My main interests are following the local rugby union team that my 3 sons have been players of for the past 8 years. I volunteered as a helper at the club assisting the academy teams as a representative of the club accompanying the teams on Away games around Andalucia and at Home games making sure all the players licenses were federated with the league. I am in a local community choir and we do fundraising concerts to raise money for local charity organisations. I also enjoy reading, going to the cinema, meeting new people and socialising with friends.
As a Product Owner in the Core Domain focussing on Player Account Management, Safer Gambling and AML I had close relationships working with the compliance teams and other stakeholders within the business ensuring that we remained compliant within the different jurisdictions and markets. One key initiative was integrating with Betstop - The National Self exclusion service for Australia onto site for AU market. Working with multiple teams internally and Betstop to ensure that all regulatory requirements were covered and met.
Worked with Customer Operations stakeholders, security and compliance teams to gather requirements and build a new feature that would implement Email verification on registration, this was to prevent the high number of multiple security hacks including credential stuffing, high volumes of fakes registrations and SMS attacks.
Gathered requirements and worked with development teams to make necessary changes in MGA player directive to ensure remained compliant in all Malta licensed countries and delivered to a strict deadline date.
Worked with Commercial Operations, UX/UI, Analytics on building a new Football Highlights Page on NGS (Next Generation Sportsbook), including new components which had proven successful on World Cup and Euro's Tournament Centre and had generated 1.1M bet slips placed with a T/O of £14.6M 13.19% of the overall WC T/O and 4.4M visits to the Tournament Centre.
Alongside the Football Highlights Page a new Content Management System (Contentstack) was being integrated across the business. My team was responsible for the integration of the 3rd party system and I was responsible for doing a gap analysis of Sports for the 2 existing CMS systems and then working closely with Operations and Architects to gather all requirements for Sportsbook ensuring that no functionality was missed and new/improved features added. Once the requirements were then agreed with the business I worked with my team to build the extensions in Contentstack.
Collaborated with Third party company Opta to integrate Pre-Match widgets and In-Play Scoreboards onto the Sportsbook event pages which enabled users to have access to up-to-date stats without having to navigate away from the event page increasing engagement and ease of use for customers.
Worked with 3 development teams to build a new betslip that encompassed different sites .es, .it and other .com jurisdictions. Looking at Regulatory, Operation and Feature requirements. Continuously prioritising and refining the backlog over the phases. I managed Stakeholder expectations giving updates and presenting the work done in iterations. Worked closely with International site managers and HOP to ensure complex regulatory requirements were met.
