Hi there! I'm Zoë, an aspiring International Business professional. I’m currently finishing my Bachelor's degree and writing my thesis while working part-time at Juno Projects. Throughout my studies, I have developed expertise in conducting market research for market expansion strategies, implementing marketing mixes, and leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data. I am passionate about learning about new cultures and countries, which has led me to live in Spain and Mexico over the past four years. During this, I became fluent in Spanish and attained a high level of proficiency in English. I am especially passionate about diversity, inclusivity, and cultural differences. My aim is to apply my knowledge of cultural aspects, international business, and marketing in my future career. Outside of work, you can find me enjoying cooking, dancing salsa, and soaking up the sun. Let’s connect and chat
At Juno Projects, we offer personnel selection and human resources outsourcing services through female talent. Our priority is to promote access to the labor market for highly qualified women, to provide them with a job solution in the present, but also so that they become the managers of the future.
In my graduation thesis, I researched the feasibility and acceptance of Juno Projects' proposal to allow individuals to work online for Dutch companies. With the rise of working from home and the housing market problems in the Netherlands, I want to understand how Dutch companies think about hiring foreign employees and what challenges they experience within the concept of remote working.
At WeWow I was responsible for B2B marketing, where I conducted extensive research to create targeted B2B content. Based on this research, I created and implemented a detailed content plan. In close collaboration with my colleagues, I took care of the visualization and structuring of the B2B content planning, under the guidance of the Growth Manager.
At Zorgeloosch I gained valuable experience in guiding customers during a sensitive phase of their lives: the divorce process. My role included speaking to customers empathetically, planning appointments with mediators and financial advisors and carefully handling communications through various channels. During work activities, I have actively contributed to providing support and guidance to couples who are separating. This experience has strengthened my communication skills and increased my insight into the complexity of divorce processes.
When SUGO opened a new location in Utrecht, I was given the opportunity to operate as a floor manager in this new building. My experience in both operational management and team development contributed to the success of this transition and the growth of the company in the new location.
At SUGO I started as a service employee, where I gained valuable experience in customer-oriented working and team dynamics. My dedication and leadership skills were noticed, leading to my promotion to floor manager at a company that was acquired by new owners. During this transition phase, I played a crucial role in guiding the staff and ensuring a smooth transformation.
During my internship at MIES MEDIA, I played an active role in managing Instagram accounts for various restaurants in Rotterdam. I assisted in setting up content planning, taking care of photography, and writing content. As the first employee, I worked closely with the owner of the company. In addition, we also organized blog events for influencers in collaboration with restaurants. During my internship, I actively worked on drafting and delivering a complete marketing plan for SUGO, the company I worked for at the time, using my strategic and creative skills.
