My name is Zachary, a recent graduate from the Culinary Institute of Barcelona. My introduction into the culinary world has been brief but with rigirous training provided by the school that instilled within me a sense of standards within the kitchen, effective skills in the preparation and storage of food, culinary knowledge and punctuation which I then applied towards my three months working in the restaurant Los Tortillez in Barcelona; I have gained an immense depth of dynamic comprehension with regards to the culinary field and its many complexities. On top of this comprehension is a fundamental demonstration and cultivation of my abilities not just in the kitchen but as a worker as well. I aspire to be a chef, working within the kitchen and applying this aquired knowledge and commitment to what I do, maintaining a steadfast commitment to punctuality, responsibility and the preservation of a high level of standards that have been made habitual to me, coordinating and communicating in an effective manner with those I share my work environment with and an adherence towards tempo and quality in the kitchen.
