Tom George

Director // Digital Software Engineering
Barcelona

Summary

An energetic, experienced and hard working tech leader with global experience that loves building and coaching teams to deliver amazing results using Agile, Lean, Design Thinking & generally coaching for high levels of autonomy, learning and emotional intelligence within teams.

I have had the chance to build and run four unique, high performance and large-scale teams, in Germany, Portugal and Spain. Through this process I've been able to build up deep knowledge around the importance of culture, operating models, methodology & technology and have learnt what it takes to deliver excellent digital products through high performing teams.

I'm just as comfortable working hands-on helping an engineering team find a tricky bug as I am presenting to C level executives and boards - I personally feel it's super important to maintain both of these skillsets in order to do my job as effectively as possible.

To every position in my career I've brought an eye for detail, an unrelenting focus on delivering value and the energy and enthusiasm to get the job done.
