My favorite questions are "How...?" and "Why...?", regardless of the field. I love Cuban music, especially the classics. Dancing salsa "reboots my system". My friends often come to me for a coffee or a beer when they need another point of view. Water is my element. Being near the sea feels like home to me. I am passionate about working with languages in any environment. That is why I started working as a freelance translator and interpreter (German-Spanish / English-Spanish) even before I graduated. Over the years, I have translated websites, and a wide variety of documents with commercial, legal, scientific, and technical content, and I have also dabbled in subtitling from time to time. As a bilateral interpreter, I have participated in business meetings, trade fairs, fieldwork, and start-ups. At the same time, I have assisted some of the companies I have worked with, during their visits to Cuba. After finishing my studies in German and English, I decided to go deeper into legal translation. Therefore, I simultaneously worked as a German teacher while I was studying to obtain a degree in Law. My being fluent in German and English has also allowed me to work occasionally as a guide for some travel agencies linked especially to cultural tourism; which, together with my experience as a teacher, has allowed me to learn to deal with the most diverse audiences and in the most diverse situations. While my experience leading a teaching staff, allowed me to develop skills such as teamwork, organization, and process management. Leaving my country meant a "rebirth" professionally and the search for new horizons, as well as being determined to change my career path to adapt to new job opportunities. Let's see how far can I go.
