As Chief Instructor, responsible for delivering RYA practical and shore-based courses to the highest instructional standards. Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of the training fleet, manage instructor and course scheduling, and ensure all training is delivered safely, professionally, and in accordance with RYA standards while providing an exceptional learning experience for students.

• Freelance Captain responsible for yacht deliveries throughout the UK, France, and the Canary Islands. Skippered private and corporate charters, delivered RYA training courses, and competed in major offshore racing events, including two Fastnet Races, five Round the Island Races, the Little Britain Challenge, and numerous other offshore regattas. Managed all aspects of sail and power yacht operations, including maintenance planning, refits, repairs, project management, voyage planning, budgeting, client handovers, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, vessel performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Marine Engineer responsible for the construction, fit-out, commissioning, and sea trials of Princess Yachts ranging from 48–130ft. Installed and tested electrical, hydraulic, navigation, and mechanical systems in accordance with build specifications and production schedules. Extensive experience commissioning and troubleshooting propulsion and auxiliary systems, including MAN, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, and MTU engines. Proficient with Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, and Furuno navigation systems, as well as hydraulic systems, Trac stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, generators, watermakers, and onboard AC/DC electrical systems. Conducted yacht deliveries throughout the UK and Europe, safely navigating vessels between countries and managing passage planning, vessel preparation, and client handovers. Worked collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality yachts to specification and on schedule.
