To whom it may concern:
Following over a decade of experience teaching adults in international language schools post-CELTA, I received my diploma in Module 1 (Understanding Language, Methodology and Resources for Teaching) and Module 2 (Developing Professional Practice) in the Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA). Following this, I continued developing my teaching methodology, curriculum development, and content creation, working as an English instructor in language schools, companies, as well as private and group classes.
The past year, I transitioned to an Academic Advising role, serving as the Head of the Admissions department for an educational consultancy firm. Here, my role consisted of more client-based functions, research, presentations, and guidance for students interested in studying abroad. Furthermore, I also assisted students through every stage of the application process, which could include exam preparation, essay writing, as well as admissions interviews and was also responsible for the selection and recruitment of teachers.
With the experience I have gained in this new role, I feel confident that I can excel in this position.
