Responsible for the running of the 2nd line and on site IT function in the UK. Ensuring day to day operations are performed effectively across 5 offices supporting ~1600 staff in addition to maintaining the Service Delivery pipeline, delivering small to major projects as required by the business. Recent achievements include:

  • London Office Move: Designed the AV and IT for the companies largest office, ensuring data, server room, incoming connections, workstations, and AV enabled spaces were fit for our users needs. Created specifications to guide contractors through the fit out process through to the planning and migration of IT and AV into the new space, ensured minimum down-time of IT services, shutting down on Friday at 18:00 to restoring services in new building at 11:00 on Saturday. Then commissioning all user facing workspaces shortly after.
  • Windows 11 rollout: Ensured all ~1600+ Windows 10 assets in our environment were upgraded before end of life. Providing minimal friction where possible by upgrading assets in place. Planning and budgeting for all devices that required storage upgrades, creating a process for the team to execute disk replacements quickly and efficiently. The scope of this task also included all VMs running Windows 10 and multiple workstations, ensuring minimal down time with teams. As part of this task I also had to plan migrations from old workstations to servers such as access control migrations.
  • Team building: since 2020 in line with companies growth strategy I have grown the regional IT team in the UK, to provide a higher quality of support in each region. Achieved by analysing high performing regions ratios of IT Support staff to headcount, factoring in their workloads, then comparing and contrasting to areas that required greater focus. I compiled this information and presented my findings to finance, operations and IT directors to gain approval to grow the team. This required creation of new IT Team Lead roles to provide more focused support across the region.
