Rubén Aguirre Vargas

I am a proactive final-year Biotechnology student with international academic experience in Poland and hands-on laboratory skills in plant biotechnology, agricultural microbiology, and marine microalgae research. My technical background includes optimizing culture conditions for Skeletonema marinoi, analyzing GMOs through PCR, and investigating antimicrobial compounds for crop improvement. Selected for the "Bayer B4U Mentoring Program," I have developed strong professional skills, including leadership, quick adaptability, and effective communication. I am highly motivated to bring my analytical thinking and fast-learning capabilities to a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and international environment.

Available for a 3–6 month international internship (Erasmus+ traineeship, University of Almería) starting in 09/01/26.
