My name is Ofek Lavi. I was born in Israel but raised and lived most of my life in Bucharest, Romania. After living in Romania for 14 years, my family decided to relocate to Barcelona, Spain. I finished high school in 2021. Currently I am studying Digital Business in Barcelona, after taking a 1 year full-time job
As a job and a hobby, I taught in summer and learnt during winter different types of water sports activities, such as: paddle surf, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and surfing.
I trained my school's primary basketball team as the head coach. The trainings included both basketball techniques and fitness
Starting as a regular ice cream cook, after 3 months I was promoted as kitchen manager, and managed 3 employees, which included their training.
I was a part of a Jewish worldwide youth movement called Hashomer Hatzair bringing together secular Jewish people and educates youth through informal education for values, such as: leadership, Zionism, and scoutcraft. In 2017, two other people my age and I, along with a supervisor decided to bring Hashomer Hatzair to Barcelona, in order to develop the Israeli community of Barcelona. Our role in Hashomer Hatzair was to plan and execute a variety of activities for the younger members, such as: valuable activities in which the younger members of Hashomer Hatzair gain important life tools, overnight trips in nature, multiple days scouting summer camps, etc. As part of Hashomer Hatzair my fellow colleagues and I were sent to a couple of seminars around the world, some of the destinations include Bulgaria, Hungary, Belgium, Poland and Israel.
