Nela Handwerker

I just finished school and my dream has always been to travel around the world. I already took my first step when I went to the United States by myself for a year, however it left me with the desire to learn even more about other countries and cultures.

Therefore I decided to take a gap year before going to university, and I find experiencing the world while having the opportunity to help other people, animals or environment can be a life changing experience.

From a young age I have played sports. I am passionate about volleyball and have been playing for over 5 years, I love outside sports like hiking or surfing and I am always open and excited to learn any new sport at any time.

On the other hand I am a music freak, with an extensive music taste and it forms a huge part of my daily life, I also know and love playing the ukulele although I wish I dedicated more time to it. 

Furthermore I highly enjoy taking pictures on my digital cameras and love editing little short films.

Lastly, the most part of my time is dedicated to my amazing friends and family which make the happiest girl in the world.
