Murray Stewart-Reid

From a young age I have gained many opportunities to travel to many places, this being army bases, school trips, family travel and the priority being travelling to boarding school within the United Kingdom. Boarding school instilled in me independence, communication and organizational skills, i believe this would help me in a future career and my own well-being.

Between travelling i was dedicated to find work experience whether this was assisting carpentry jobs down home, as shown below, and i was hands on when given the opportunity to volunteer to help out my community from mechanical work (fixing vehicles) to leading scout groups to supply them with safety and security. All of these experiences have made me how i am today and have allowed me to gain team work skills, a leadership role and interpersonal skills that would thrive given the opportunity to work in the aviation sector as i recognize the determinism, hardworking and complex decision making involved in this role.

• Love the outdoors, go camping a lot and joined the scouting group of the falkland islands where myself and a couple others were named the highest rank of the scouts in the falkland islands.
• Part of the falkland islands gun club where i would help teach newer members gun safety and proper maintenance
• Flight Simulator, since i was young i would play a flight simulator with my father (Microsoft Flight Sim) easily gaining over 100 hours flying
• Motor-Cross
• Weight-Training/CrossFit, since i was 14 i have been trying to keep myself healthier by doing CrossFit and have transitioned from more stricter weight-training once turning 16 and have been continuing with both
• Languages, large majority of my family have south american background and to be able ot communicate with them i have taken up the opportunity to learn Spanish
• Electronics, Anything electronic (i.e. Kitchen Appliances, computers, general machinery) interests me and i like to learn about how they work gaining the knowledge to maintain and repair many devices.
