Montse García Rovira

As Responsible of the R&D Team of Finished Dosage Forms, I'm managing the formulation and analysis areas (24 people), coordinating the activities of the different projects. We develop solid oral forms including technologies as Hot Melt Extrusion and liquid injectable forms including Long Acting Injectables.

I participate in the Selection of new projects in a multidisciplinary team preparing the technical SWOT analysis and the R&D budget as well.

I worked in the Formulation Development Area leading the technical activities of different projects: Formulation and process development applying QbD and DoE, scale-up to pilot and/or industrial scale, documentation for dossier submission.

I developed solid oral dosage forms as coated and uncoated tablets by direct compression, dry and wet granulation, Hot Melt Extrusion, capsules including Pellets by Layering and Extrusion and Spheronisation.

I worked in the Formulation Development Area leading the technical activities of different projects: formulation and process development, scale-up and dossier compilation.

I developed injectable forms (liquid and lyophilized) and solid forms (coated and uncoated tablets by direct compression or wet granulation).
