Martina Llobell Gonzalez-Gallarza

I had the wonderful opportunity to come to San Jose, Costa Rica to teach English in public schools on the outskirts of the city. A unique and enriching experience that allows me not only to get to know new cultures and customs, but also to get out of my comfort zone to try to help others.

I have been working for two years in the "Enlances DEMOS" project at Comillas Pontifical University. A volunteering that consists of accompanying students with disabilities in their university experience, so that this is the best possible. In my case, I have participated in the Musical Combo and Theater workshops, with two wonderful DEMOS students.

Aid for the repair and reconstruction of Lohra Castle in the region of Thuringia, Germany. During two weeks we dedicated ourselves to the cleaning of the areas near the castle, the creation of natural protection such as fences, and its preservation as a historical building. A great experience to learn about German history, and to work for the care and preservation of it.
