• Coordinated and drafted the first National Strategy of Public Health for Spain. This Strategy constitutes the national framework for coordination, collaboration and strengthening the Spanish public health system, providing a national roadmap that aims to establish synergies and partnerships to protect and improve the health and well-being of the Spanish population.

• As a trauma emergency physician I determined, ordered and reviewed tests and images to evaluate patient conditions and establish a diagnosis.
• Prescribed and administered initial treatment such as acute pain management, burn injuries, stitching lacerations, splinting, casting broken bones or installing tubes and devices.
• Performed minor emergency procedures and occasionally assisted traumatologists for complex surgical procedures.
• Recommended treatments, suggested related therapeutic procedures, and referred patients to specialists or other practitioners for treatment.

• While I was studying medicine, I worked intermittently as a physiotherapist in centres of the National Health System and in other private centres.
