Lucía Fraile Fernández

Hi! I'm Lucía, a 25 y/o translator from English and French to Spanish and vice versa. I studied Translation and Interpreting at the Complutense University of Madrid, specializing in both audiovisual and literary translation, and thus combining three of my greatest passions: languages, literature and film.

As a Language Specialist, I love projects where language has a creative side, and style and tone are just as important as meaning. I find especially rewarding to work with content that connects with people, always paying attention to accessibility and cultural mediation.

I also enjoy teaching. It has helped me grow as a Linguist and as a person, and I have become more aware of how language can be adapted to different contexts.
