Jose Antonio Faria

My internships at Novo Bank and York Brokerage House in Caracas gave me valuable experience in finance and human resources. At Novo Bank, I helped organize client meetings and gave updates about ongoing projects. I also worked with the finance team to understand the bank’s performance during a difficult political and economic time in Venezuela. In addition, I supported daily tasks at the teller desk, which helped me understand customer service and banking operations. At York Brokerage House, I was part of the HR team. I learned how to review resumes and send them to the right departments. These roles helped me improve my communication, organization, and teamwork skills. They also gave me a better understanding of how businesses work from the inside. Working in these professional environments taught me how to adapt, be responsible, and always stay open to learning.
