•PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) feeding and care associated with PEG tubes, ensuring safe and effective feeding practices.
•Nasogastric (NG) tube
maintaining proper tube placement, preventing complications like aspiration and infection, and ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration.
•Tracheostomy care involves maintaining a clean tracheostomy site, tube, and surrounding skin to prevent infection and ensure proper airflow. This includes regular cleaning of the inner cannula, changing dressings and ties, and suctioning secretions.
•Care Planning:
Participating in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
for residents.
•Communication:
Effectively communicating with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
•Emotional Support:
