Aviation has been the one constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Since I was a kid, I’ve always felt the same pull toward airplanes, and that passion naturally led me into the world of flight simulation very early on. After more than a decade of sim flying in FSX and Microsoft Flight Simulator, flying has become almost second nature to me, something that helped me enormously when I started my PPL.

Another thing that marked me as a child were air accident investigations. I still remember the first time I watched an episode of Mayday: Air Disaster, it hooked me instantly.

Years later, when I discovered the Mentour Pilot channel, it felt like the perfect continuation of that series. The attention to detail, the superb editing, and the in depth explanations made it my favourite aviation channel by far. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to creating more of those stories would genuinely mean a lot to me.
