• Negotiation of an 500 M€ outsourcing contract for a Chinese ITC company.
• Advising a Dutch bank on BAIT / EBA Guidelines compliance in the Identity and Access Management Area.
• Support on the implementation of an Service Now based IAM solution for a Dutch bank.
• ISO 27.001 Pre-Audit for a German public transport software company.
• ISO 27.001 Pre-Audit for a German ITC company.

Enzyme is an AI company headquartered in Barcelona. Starting this company as a Co-Founder from the scratch was an adventure with a lot of uncertainty, a lot of challenges and many results:

• Numbers: Full service stack around customer experience, employee experience, operations improvement, strategy mapping. +100 consultants. +100 customers. 10M€.
• Head of Strategic Alliances (2018-22). Maintaining and developing of enduring relationships, partnerships and alliances with companies as IBM, SAP, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, UiPath, LeanIX, Software AG, etc.
• Product Owner Collagen (2020-22). Collagen is a platform to setup and operate NLP assistants able to communicate with customers, prospects and employees.
• Managing Director Madrid (2018-2021). Establish operations in Madrid, team building and consolidate position in this area.
• Head of Platform (2020-21). During 10 years a lot of unfinished assets were generated. The challenge consisted in selecting the right assets to build a platform able to generate license revenues.
• Head of Cognitive Experience (2017-18). AI and Cognitive were not new, but still were not mainstream. The challenge was to improve existing service offering adding some AI flavor and gradually transform the offering into a full-fledged Data & AI service.
• Head of Digital Advising (2014-16). Digital Transformation was the hype, companies already had big investments in technology. Companies asked for advise on what to do to be more digital, but without renewing the complete IT portfolio.
• Chief-Operating-Officer (COO) (2011-14). Enzyme started in 2011 and initially there was nothing than cool ideas and lot of entrepreneurial energy. We learnt fast that we needed some processes, tools and method to be able to send out invoices and to attend payroll at the end of every month.

EBMT is the leading european register of bone and marrow transplantations. Activity involves the register, clinical trials, transplantation accreditations and a well-known yearly event for experts and professionals.

My role was the development and delivery of IT Services aligned to EBMT's objectives related with Research, Quality and Education:

• Elaboration and launching of a strategical 4 year plan to raise the digital competence of EBMT
• Organize and transform the ongonig initiatives and projects to assure feasibility and value generation.

The company saw an opportunity for growth offering IT Governance services. The challenge was to establish the practice based on existing knowledge in the company:

• Strategic ITC plans and IT Service Management pitches and services designed and introduced into company'¡s portfolio based on impact, agility and measurable results
• Teams in ITC strategy and professional IT Service Management established and consolidated based on agile concepts, explicit performance measurement and tema empowerment
• Newly designed services positioned and sold in more than 5 major accounts

SAP introduced SAP Netweaver to open SAP R3 for Internet Technology. SAP consultants were reluctant to adopt those new techniques. The challenge was to add those new skills in the service offering and setup a new team skilled in SAP Netweaver:

• Design and introduce Enterprise Portal Development into company'¡s portfolio based on Internet technology and SAP Netweaver
• Successful positioning as leading provider of Web-based solutions on SAP ERP landscapes in Spain and Portugal
• Advise more than 30 companies successfully on how portal and web technology can contribute to better SAP installations and more productive employees
• Companies in Public Transport, Utility, Retail, Automotive, Professional Services, Manufacturing achieved their goals using portals and web solutions
• Establish and consolidate teams around portal and web development and SAP backend integration and with agile methodologies

The team innovated a unique product in the auction space. The challenge was to convert this idea into product and to manage the product development and the initial implementation projects:

• Design, develop and commercialize state-of-the-art reverse auction product called iSOCO Quotes.
• Successful positioning of iSOCO Quotes as leading solution for purchasing departments to improve negotiations and to select best performing providers.
• Companies in Utilities, Mining, Retail, Manufacturing achieved their purchasing goals using iSOCO Quotes.
• Establish and consolidate teams around strategy and operative sourcing and related services.
• Successful partnerships established with SAP and other ERP providers to be able for E2E solutions.

The HQ decided to implement the next generation office applications with Smalltalk. The challenge was to create a team able to work in this technology. One of the first challenges was the development of a contact-center platform:

• Design of software architectures of contact-center-platform in Smalltalk.
• Manage and develop contact-center platform as project manager, architect and developer.
• Coach development teams in software engineering, architectures and object-oriented programming.

HQ decided to implement new backend systems with Smalltalk. The challenge was to learn this technology and to develop the first projects:

• Design and implementation of different projects using VisualWorks Smalltalk, VSE Smalltalk, VisualAge Smalltalk, object-oriented methodologies and a custom persistency framework.

The owners of the company decided to change the technology platform of its financial assistant product suite from UNIX to Windows:

• Development of Personal Financial Assistant for Windows in C++
• Development of Windows Platform to develop standard financial products.
