Currently working as a Policy Advisor with a focus on sustainable economics and effective policy advocacy for emerging climate technologies. Leveraging a background in economics and EU environmental policy, I bring over three years of invaluable professional experience to the table in the areas of project management and policy advocacy. I have an aptitude for project management and a passion for sustainability. I am a very organized person with a solution-oriented, can-do attitude and a driven mindset, which serve me to effectively contribute to executing green projects that bring us closer to a decarbonized green economy.
As a Policy Advisor at Bellona Europa, I have a dual focus: sustainable economy and policy advocacy related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) deployment. Within the Sustainable Economy Team I focus on Just Transition policy in the context of industrial decarbonisation and contribute to the European Commission's Just Transition Platform's Working Group on Cement by mapping out the needs of cement factories in JT regions and conducting interviews. I also work on climate technologies and their corresponding policy frameworks with a particular focus on CCS deployment in the Central and Eastern European region as part of the CCS4CEE project. I coordinate Bellona Europa's work on public perception of CCS as a potential barrier to deployment in Europe.
As Policy Analyst I supported Bellona's EU policy work, in particular on the topics of Sustainable Finance. I assisted on project execution (project: CCS4CEE), project management and related communication activities, as well as coordination and planning. I analyzed potential climate solutions and their impacts, monitored relevant legislative and political developments, contributed to developing and executing campaigns (#TENTTuesdays, #CCS4NetZeroIndustry), and drafted and contributed to publications. I contributed to Bellona's 60-page Taxonomy report. I followed the CCUS Forum's Working Group on Public Perception work and contributed with our organization positions to the final paper of the WG.
As an intern, I helped coordinate the CCS4CEE project, contributed to the organization of several workshops and seminars, and prepared and delivered presentations. I conducted a thorough analysis of the EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy and contributed to the organization and execution of Bellona's Taxonomy campaign.
I worked as part of the International Business Unit, assisting the team with establishing and maintaining contact with clients, partners and subcontractors, tender monitoring, technical and financial reporting of projects, briefing and structuring written materials, generating summary documents and reports for senior managers, reviewing expert reports, preparing tender proposals and applications, data gathering, systematization and analysis.
Over the past year, I have been actively engaged in learning the French language and remain committed to ongoing proficiency development.
