Within the data science team my current role is a hybrid between a product manager and data science individual contributor. Along with being hands for the full end-to-end implementation and deployment of advanced analytics solutions and data products, I am also in charge of promoting the adoption of a data driven culture throughout the company
Along with the Product Monetization division, I have led the ideation, implementation, and product management of several machine learning solutions aimed at improving and modernizing the online marketplace monetization strategy and core engine / algorithm (second price auction model). The most successful product has been an automated bidding solution for the marketplace clients, which so far has led to a 5% uplift in revenue ($6 million per year).
Along with the Marketing Science division, I worked on the ideation and deployment of data science models aimed at optimizing the $ margins arising from performance marketing channels which together account for an average of $10 million volumes spent per month. The positive impact of the activity so far has been $5 million per year.
Responsible for leading the implementation of several advanced algorithms for customer personalization strategies, from the ideation to the set up of the A/B test and production. The activity allowed the company to increase user acquisition and traffic by 20%+.
Along with the Marketing Lifecycle team, I was responsible for the end-to-end implementation of a customer lifetime value (CLV) model which is currently used as a core tool to direct and manage marketing acquisition and retention strategies.
Proposed, got buy-in, and built a scalable model pipeline to forecast clicks and traffic projections for the core marketplaces bidding platform, which allowed the company to improve the accuracy of forecasts by 20% and reduce client’s dropout rate by 10%
