Accomplishments

The Alcohol Treatment Requirement programme my colleague and I set up received excellent feedback and, as a result, extra funding.

The young people I worked with in Deptford won first prize two years in a row for best peer education in South London on illicit drugs!

I walked from Austria to Turkey in an International team meeting with Muslims, Jews and Orthodox Christians to talk about the impact of the Crusades on modern politics.

I enjoy meeting people who are culturally very different and have worked in Pakistan, Israel and Spain. I lived the first 10 years of my life in Kuwait.

I am in a parent role to 6 young people: 2 step daughters, one foster son, an (unofficially) adopted daughter and a biological son and daughter.

I enjoy walking my dogs each day, learning Spanish and cold water swimming!
