Dylan Marshall

As a Student, I have successfully completed two periods of work experience with CDE, gaining valuable insight into different areas of the business. My first placement was within the Stores team, where i delevoped an understanding of stock control, organisation, and the importance of accuracy when handling materials and inventory. I assisted with tasks such as checking deliveries, organising stock, and ensuring components were correctly logged and stored, which helped me build attention to detail and time management skills.

For my secodn placement, I worked with the Assembly team, where I was introduced to the practical side of production. I observed and supported the assembly process, learning how individual components came together to form finished products, This experience strengthened my teamwork and communication skills, as well as my ability to follow technical instructions and maintain a focus on quality and safety.

Overall these experiences have given me a well rounded understanding of both the logistical and manufacturing aspects of the company, and have helped me develop key workplace skills that i can carry forward to my future career.

I enjoy building things and following plans.

I am also a football fan and love visiting Liverpool for matches.

Travel is also an interest of mine and I have visited many interesting places from Dubai to Krakow, Spain and USA.
