Integrated as part of the global Center of Excellence team, the primary focus of my position is supporting the local HR teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across the locations where Evolution operates and understanding/ establishing and maintaining the Company HR standards and best practices, promoting its implementation to boost ethical and regulatory compliance across the Organization.
• One of the main tools designed to ensure Compliance with Company standards and legal requirements is a detailed check-in process (internal auditing), comprising the establishment of expectations in new Company locations, annual check-ins across all Company locations and following up on the progress of local HR teams, ensuring global support needs are identified and addressed.
• Collaborate with HR Function Leads to review and maintain the required internal control mechanisms to ensure local HR teams establish and follow Company practices and procedures.
• Reviewing, communicating, and implementing Group Policies, such as the Global HR Policy, Whistleblowing Policy and the Company Code of Conduct, in collaboration with Senior Stakeholders.
• Establishing and maintaining systems for document control to guarantee the quality of the HR information and compliance with Company and regulatory standards.
• Delivery of training programs focused on the Company HR systems and platforms and other compliance related matters.
• Providing guidance to local HR teams on legal matters related to HR, such as discrimination, bullying and harassment, working as an escalation point when required.
• Keep track of key HR metrics to assess compliance levels and identify risks and areas for improvement. The preparation of this information is done on a yearly basis with consequent report submission to the required external Entities, such as external auditors.
Ad Hoc Projects:
• In collaboration with the Global Compensation & Benefits team, I’ve supported the local HR team in Spain in the design and establishment of a salary structure, in line with the WTW methodology.
• In collaboration with the Global Compensation & Benefits team, I worked on a comprehensive overview of locally provided benefits across all Company Entities, enabling a comparison of benefit levels and identifying opportunities for cost-benefit optimizations through global contract negotiations.
• Since October 2024 I’ve been acting as an HRBP, providing remote HR support to a team based in Murcia. My main responsibilities are:
o Addressing complex employment matters in collaboration with internal (local Operations Manager, and the Country Operations Manager) and external (client’s HR team) stakeholders, by providing guidance on employee relations topics and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and Company best practices.
o Acting as a key liaison to resolve issues arising from labor inspections and Employee Committee concerns.
o Partnering with the Operations Manager and client’s HR team to navigate and implement significant modifications to working conditions, ensuring alignment with labor laws, company standards, and operational needs.
Acting as the link between the HR Function and the Business, I was responsible for the delivery of the overall HR services, policies and procedures for Fugro Marine (UAE, Qatar and KSA) with the support of a team of 3 HR Coordinators. My areas of responsibility included:

✓ Successful HRIS Implementation: Acting as a Local Project Lead, I was involved in the entire lifecycle of implementation of
Workday, from the design of the different modules, informing and advising PwC of local requirements and regulations; data
gathering; communication and training of Managers and Employees; to management of the support provided to users after
the implementation.
✓ Implementation of several Employee Engagement initiatives: including several wellness actions and programs (which included
the organization of a fundraising campaign focused on breast cancer; a weight loss competition; a campaign focused on men’s
health – Movember, amongst others); employee satisfaction surveys and the creation of a monthly HR newsletter.
✓ Improvement of the efficiency of Recruitment Services provided: Decreased the dependency of external agencies and man
power providers. A new recruitment procedure was created with roles, responsibilities and timeframes clearly defined. A new
system of metrics to measure the efficiency of the HR support was implemented.
✓ Review and standardization of company’s policies and procedures following an internal organizational restructuring process.
✓ Delivery of a regional L&D initiative focused on the implementation of a redefined set of corporate values and strategic
