• Lead and manage legal projects of considerable size/complexity aligned with the objectives of the organizational plan, comparative value, and strategic approach of the organization.
• Litigate directly and/or supervise litigation before judicial bodies, courts, and/or tribunals in accordance with organizational objectives.
• Work with Managing Attorneys to design and develop innovative and timely legal strategies to support achievement of program initiatives.
• Contribute with identifying and strengthening alliances to position the organization in Europe.

• Assessing needs, documenting war crime-related cases, maintaining relationships with various interlocutors, including UN personnel, NGOs, victims, etc.
• Interviewing detainees to assess humanitarian conditions and speaking to different prison authorities
• Researching and drafting on political and humanitarian developments related to the region assigned.
• Skills: Dialogue and mediation, difficult interviewing, preparing and assisting to field trips, designing trainings.

For Members of Parliament, NGOs, lawyers and victims (including prisoners), I undertook:

• Legal / policy advise on advocacy and international litigation strategies
• Legal research, Council of Europe (including European Court of Human Rights) and United Nations (UN) mechanisms
• Drafting of legal documents, e.g memorandums, reports, communications, for UN Special Procedures, European Union bodies, etc.
• Directing and monitoring projects.
