• Reception, analysis and interpretation of operations
• Review of the economic terms of the contracts
• Process of derivatives validation
• Daily reports
• Maintenance and management of operational events
• Management and resolution of operational discrepancies
• Contact with managers, agents and custodians by phone and/or mail

• Deal directly with clients and business areas either by telephone or e-mail
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Assist management with identifying process improvements and work flow changes to improve customer experience and process efficiencies
• Ensure policies and procedures are current and consistent with various Bank requirements
• Responsible for effective implementation of new procedures, systems, process changes, and initiatives impacting the payment operations in general
• Liaise between business partners in Risk, Compliance, and Legal
• Create and execute the daily full payments cycle
• Investigate and resolve bank transfer inquiries from customers and Fx Dealers
• Communicate with banking partners via SWIFT, e-mail and phone to resolve errors in a timely manner
• Monitor FX deals to ensure proper settlement
• Verify daily log of all deals, transfers and payment orders
• Identify operational risks and the effectiveness of controls

As part of the Fixed Income Settlement - CIB Team of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria for corporate and investment banking:

• Settlement for BBVA's own account fixed income operations (Matching Manager, Auto-settle and manual settle, Netting configuration, Inventory Positions Report)
• Triparty Collateral Management and Bilateral Collateral Management
• Cash flow and position management control
• International settlement of Fixed Income bonds including Eurobonds, EM bonds and settlement assistance to BBVA's
• Repo Desk
• CCP reconciliation LCH SA, LCH Ltd, Eurex, GC Pooling
