I lead a team reporting to leadership (director level). Manage metrics, headcount calculation, and goal tracking for the Data Center Capacity Delivery organization in EMEA, which consists of four execution teams: Construction, Commissioning, Controls, Cost Control, and Critical Project Implementation.

• Implemented a global model that calculates the headcount needed by execution teams across different data center project types and regions for the project pipeline.
• Built a mechanism to measure yearly headcount productivity in execution projects. This allows Finance and Leadership to determine if the annual business headcount request meets targets.

Delivered the site works, shell (12k m² footprint), and phase one (4 MW) of a 48 MW data center building. This was done from bid analysis to managing on-site construction work in a new region where AWS had no previous presence.

• Managed a construction project budget of $31.5 million USD, from vendor selection to project completion.
• Coordinated the work and relationships between the general contractor, six client consulting companies, eleven client long lead equipment vendors, and fifteen internal stakeholder teams.

As part of the Procurement Center of Excellence team, I managed projects to improve the efficiency of the procurement team's activities. Worked with the procurement team, their customers, and stakeholders, gathering the necessary data to detect deficiencies and opportunities for better decision-making and process improvement.

• Created a centralized dashboard with Procurement's key milestone dates that fed from AWS Infrastructure's project database to allow tender planning in real time.
• Created a Supplier Relationship Management tool to rate vendor performance and report the results through a set of interactive dashboards for procurement category managers to use when conducting vendor business reviews.

Managed the tenders to select general contractors for the construction of data center projects across five countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

• Managed procurement processes that add up to an award of more than 600 million EUR.
• Achieved a $14.5 million cost avoidance.
• Standardize globally the general contractor tender process, and the definition of the key roles and responsibilities.

Hired as a Procurement Engineer on the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Ski Contract for the Follo Line Project (290M EUR), the construction of a double railway track line from Ski to Oslo Central Station.

• Led the tender for subcontractor services, materials, and equipment through all stages of the procurement process, including contract negotiations (up to 14 M EUR).

Implemented the Corporate ERP’s Procurement Software on international projects, supervised compliance of procurement processes to corporate standards, provided support on tenders above 500K EUR, and analyzed procurement risks for projects in the bidding phase.

• Supported procurement processes for large-scale projects in Peru, Colombia, Chile (Gustavo Fricke Hospital - 116M EUR), Mexico (Toluca Train - 575M EUR), Turkey (Marmaray Project - 1.042M EUR), and Saudi Arabia (Haramain High Speed Train - 590M EUR).

Supported two large-scale Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) packages for a healthcare city project, and a detailed design package for a conference hotel.

• Proposed and implemented a digital document control system to organize and track deliverables for the clients.
