Systems Engineer

  • Assumed a key role in a small team, developing the Systems Engineering (SE) Department of the company. Collaborated in the maturity of SE processes such as Verification & Validation procedures, Factory Acceptance Tests and System Specifications and Requirements for Remote Weapon Stations, while introducing a young team to System Engineering principles, documents and procedures.
  • Acquired experience working closely with the Spanish Armada and Navantia, iterating requirement matrices and verification procedures. Closed the Factory and Harbour Acceptance Test for the F110/F111/F112 Frigate Program, closing a milestone worth 4M € for the company. This involved the procedures to test 6 caliber 12,7 and 30mm Remote Weapon Stations. Developed and participated in the field tests.
  • Participated in military Research and Development programs involving C-UAS technologies such as laser aiming systems, developing virtual models to for requirement specification purposes.
  • Started the company's transition towards MBSE as a member of the recently created Digital Engineering Department, creating System Models in both Arcadia (Capella) and SysML (Enterprise Architect).

Eurodrone Systems Engineer

  • Supported Airbus DS Germany in the development of Eurodrone L2 and L3 systems, focusing on ATA 34 (Flight Management Systems) and contributing also to Ground Station Systems.
  • Developed System Interface and Equipment Integration Requirement Documents through PDR and CDR stages, coordinating across multiple international teams. Hands-on with Airbus processes and system engineering tools: such as DOORS, CAMEO and ICDMS.
  • Designed Eurodrone L3 System Functions (Detailed Functional Specification) based on requirements using Ansys SCADE. Mainly focused on ATA 34 Maintenance Functions and its associated equipment.
  • Gained deep familiarity with Airbus documentation workflows, electrical equipment integration, and cross-functional communication, building strong knowledge of ATA 43 interfaces and LRUs including TCAS, IFF, DME and DFDR and FMC.
