Ana Alonso Cañizares

Dedicated nine years to learn professionally how to play the trombone in the Professional School of Music Amaniel. Used to be part of an Orchestra called La Unión Musical de Pozuelo de Alarcón and have been playing in many cities around Spain during National Holidays festivals (Las Fallas de Valencia or Semana Santa de Zamora) and the international "Certamen Internacional de Bandas de Musica de Valencia, 2018" contest were we were awarded the fourth position, apart from all the concerts we played in Madrid.

Hardworking and passionate for the artistic figure rolling skating which I practiced for more than 13 years. I am a National level skater both on the individual and partners modalities. This is the reason why I have been competing in many sport competitions as well.

The last two years in my skating career, I took part in a team specialized in Show Group modality, and became the champions of Madrid and seventh of Spain for two consecutive years (2016 and 2017). During the same period we competed in some championships in the Community of Madrid always getting podium positions.

Therefore, I am fully prepared to co-work in teams and also ready to work on my own, with a positive attitude and taking responsibilities to meet my goals or those of the team I'm a member of.

Intuitive and fast learning with a great capacity for problem-solving and willingness to learn and cooperate to complement my skills with those from the rest of my team.

Experienced in travelling and getting to know other cultures. Have had studying experiences in Canada (twice), Boston (in Berklee College of Music, playing trombone), Milano, Florence (learning a third language: Italian), Florida (Miami, Orlando) and Denmark (with a scholarship from High School). Have also traveled and visited Brazil, Portugal, France, Rome, Iceland, Turkey, Morocco, England, Germany, Japan, USA (Las Vegas, Colorado, San Francisco, Santa Mónica, California, LA), Ireland and Japan (where my brother lives).

I recently completed my Mathematical Engineering degree at the University, specializing in Quantum Computing. I am proficient in programming with C, Python, SQL, MATLAB, and R-Studio, and have developed a strong foundation in advanced mathematics. Additionally, I maintain a healthy lifestyle by regularly training at the gym and I am committed to eating a balanced diet to support my overall well-being.
