Alex Bedford Vilarrubias

Worked as a teacher for an A1 summer course organized by the SOC (Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya) for adults seeking employment. Course duration of three weeks, 85h in total.

Taught groups of A2, B1, B2 and C1, made up of teenagers and young adults. For the B2 & C1 groups, we mainly focused on preparing for the FCE / CAE. I also did remote Business English lessons for employees of the lighting company ERCO before my in-class lessons.

Worked as a Speaking Teacher in EOI Drassanes. Classes lasted 1h30 and were done weekly, focusing on a different topic each 1-2 weeks (family, friends, traveling, food...), mainly prioritising speech, vocabulary and pronunciation. Groups of 6-12 students, ranging from young adults to senior citizens.

I worked as an English Teacher in Kids&Us Sants, starting remotely for COVID reasons, and switching to in-class lessons after a few months. Taught students from the ages of 6 to 15 following the school's curriculum.

Worked as a host and organiser in Craft Barcelona, starting off the show with the house band and curating the musicians who played each night.
